FOOD EXCELLENCE AWARDS PRESENTED

The Tazewell County Health Department honored the food service facilities that have met the criteria in their classification by awarding them the 2013 Food Excellence Award.  The program was held on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at the Tazewell County Health Department.

Establishments achieving the award are issued a certificate that can be posted in public view. This certificate indicates to the public, that the facility exceeds regular food safety concerns to meet their customer’s needs. 

            Food establishments that met criteria for the 2013 Food Excellence Award are:

Tazewell County Health Department has proposed changes to the Sewage Ordinance for Tazewell County.

A public meeting will be held to offer residents the opportunity to make suggestions and voice concerns.  This date will be announced at a later time.
