- The Child Care Nurse Consultant works with SAL Child Care Connection to provide information to child care providers in a nine county region, including Tazewell County. Examples of education include safe, healthy child care environments: access to effective health, dental, and developmental screenings and follow-up care for all children in child care; provides education and training for child care providers and families, and consultation for providers caring for children with special needs.
